The JAGDA Peace and Environment Poster Exhibition 1995: HIROSHIMA–NAGASAKI 50

More Details in Japanese

Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc. has been sponsoring the “JAGDA Peace Posters Exhibition” every year since 1983, with members participating of their own free will. In 1989 “Water” exhibition took up an environmental issue, and in 1992 the theme was “JAGDA Peace and Environment Poster Exhibition: I’m here.” with our hope to develop these events, and we received many compliments during the tour both in and out of Japan.
This year, 1995, is the anniversary of 50 years since the end of World WarⅡ, and this time we planned “I’m here.—The JAGDA Peace and Environment Poster Exhibition 1995: HIROSHIMA–NAGASAKI 50” carrying on the idea from the “I’m here.” exhibition, that continued the message of peace and the environment.
Taking this opportunity, we would like to send out our sincere message as graphic designers, hoping that many people will visit the exhibition and recognize the issues against peace and the environment.
We would like to express our appreciation to all concerned, especially the Japan Art Fund, and also the Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. and all other people who offered their cooperation for this exhibition.
