The JAGDA International Student Poster Award (JISPA) was established to discover and honor emerging talent, with the goal of fostering the growth and evolution of graphic design. Open to students from high school level and above, the award invites B1-size poster submissions from across the globe based on an annual theme.
Its predecessor, the JAGDA Student Grand Prix, was held four times within Japan starting in 2015. In its fifth year in 2019, the competition expanded internationally and was renamed to its current title. Exhibitions of the selected works are held at the National Art Center, Tokyo.
