This booklet is a report of JAGDA IP Seminar 2019 “Creation and Legal Protection of Pictograms” held in January 2019. It introduces the function and history of pictograms, revised items of Registered Public Information Symbols, legal precedent of Osaka local pictograms as case study, discussion on issues surrounding making wheelchair marks obligatory and so on, with abundant plates.
